Lockdown Renovations

Ok, so we’re into our sixth week of lockdown, we’re all following the government guidelines on keeping ourselves safe and reducing pressure on the NHS, not easy but it’s definitely for the best. It’s time to re-evaluate our lives, enjoy slowing down a little and taking stock of what’s around us in our homes and perhaps planning how we can tidy up or improve our surroundings, in an attempt to ward off boredom and provide a goal to enhance our self-esteem and create personal goals.

...get some inspiration…start a Pinterest board and get cuttings from those old magazines you're about to throw out!

Get measuring.

Take note of the room measurements, it’s always a good idea to draw an outline of the space and put the measurements next to each wall. Also take note of the ceiling height and any windowsill heights…little details that can make a huge difference.
