Terrazzo has an unmistakably retro character: that speckled, chip-flecked surface that looks equally at home in a 1970s Italian apartment or a brand new minimalist kitchen. Our terrazzo effect tiles recreate the look through porcelain printing rather than actual stone fragments, and the result is remarkably convincing.
The range runs from simple base tones scattered with large, dramatic chips, through to more subdued colours flecked with smaller fragments, and designs with a softer, natural stone-like texture running through them. A terrazzo floor makes a real statement in a pared-back, minimalist room, while a smaller run works nicely as a feature wall paired with colours that pick out the tones within the chips.
Because it is porcelain rather than the real material, there is no sealing to keep up with, just regular sweeping, mopping, and the odd spot clean to keep it looking sharp.
