A gloss floor tile brings a certain polish to a room, quite literally. Light lifts off the surface and travels further across a space, which is part of why gloss floors read as bright and open even in rooms that do not get much natural daylight. This range spans large format porcelain for a clean, flowing floor, right through to patterned, heritage style and stone or wood effect designs with a glossy finish, so there is plenty here beyond a plain glazed square.
In a larger room, a big format gloss tile laid with tight joints keeps the floor feeling calm and continuous. In a smaller kitchen or a hallway, a patterned or checkerboard gloss design can add real personality instead. Do bear in mind that a glossy surface is naturally more slippery when wet than a matte or textured one, so for bathroom and wet room floors specifically we would usually point you toward a different finish. Ask our team if you are unsure which of these floors suits your space.
