Aged takes the idea of a distressed tile seriously, with a properly weathered, worn-in surface that looks like it has already lived a life somewhere else. Cast mostly in monochrome and near-monochrome tones, it has a warming, grounding presence that settles a room rather than competing for attention.
It sits comfortably in traditional farmhouse kitchens and boot rooms, but the same distressed character also works surprisingly well in a modern industrial scheme, particularly alongside copper fittings, exposed brick, or blackened metal. It is a lovely choice if you want a floor or wall with some history to it, real or implied, rather than a crisp, uniform finish. Ask our design team at Baked Tiles for samples if you are working the aged look into a mixed-material scheme, seeing the tone against your other finishes makes a real difference.
