My name is Miffy Shaw. I live in Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan with my husband Gareth, daughter Frankie, and dog Tugboat! We have been developing properties for 15 years and have recently finished our latest product in Barry Island!

I used to say I was on the darkside, but I think lockdown converted me - I'm now loving lighter and fresher interiors. I'd say modern rustic with an organic feel

I love natural materials like stone, wood, leather, furs, and plants

We bought the house at a property auction and I hadn't actually seen it, but my husband had and wasn't put off by the fact that it had been derelict for 12 years and has pigeons as residents!

It was a four bed semi, and still is, but much improved and extended. We converted the loft space, added a large extension and completely gutted the house.
